Juco DL scheduling visits

North Dakota State College of Science defensive lineman Bobby Jones has scheduled four of his five official visits.

“I have scheduled four of them,” the 6-foot-5, 275-pound Jones said. “I’m going to visit Michigan State the weekend of Nov. 5. Then I’m going to Oregon the next weekend (Nov. 12). My third trip will be to Kansas State (Nov. 19) and my fourth trip is to Wisconsin the first weekend of December.”

No school has jumped to the top of the visit list for Jones, yet, for the final spot.

“I’m keeping things open right now for the fifth spot,” he said. “Texas A&M and Arizona are two schools that are watching my film and they will evaluate it and let me know whether they will offer or not. If they do, they would be at the top of schools I might schedule the last visit to.”

Jones isn’t going to rush into a choice before seeing what all of the schools have to offer him.

“I’m going to take the trips before I make a choice,” he said. “I graduate in December, so I can sign with a school during that signing period and then get started in spring drills. I like all of the schools that are recruiting me. They each have their own situation, but all of them look like good places for me.”
