Juco DE to visit Florida State

El Dorado (Kan.) Butler County C.C. four-star defensive end Justin Tomerlin received a bit of good news today when Florida State, the school he originally signed with out of high school, took another step toward signing him again out of junior college.

“I talked to coach Lilly and he wants me to visit on January 14 or January 21,” Tomerlin, who is now 6-foot-6 and 265 pounds, said. “He didn’t want me to come the first week in January because they’re going to have 20, 25 recruits and wanted to spend some personal time with me. I’ll definitely be going down there.

“I’m pretty solid on Florida State.”

He’s also starting to sort out the rest of his visits. He has Michigan State lined up for January 7 and Kansas State is likely to get a mid-week visit some time in January, too. USC, Cal, Miami and Louisville are also possible visit destinations.
