Butler County (Kan.) Community College defensive end Zac Clark helped his team to the NJCAA national title last weekend. It wasn't a long break after the season before the three-star prospect was hitting the road on an official visit.
"I do have my visit planned for Texas A&M this weekend," the 6-foot-3, 250-pound Clark said. "I'll be heading there tomorrow. Right now, actually I am at University of Oregon.
"Everything is going pretty good so far. They have some amazing facilities up here. They are showing me around the campus and I'm visiting with the coaches. It is a good trip so far."
The Manhattan, Kan., native was a key part of last weekend's national title game. Clark had four tackles and two quarterback sacks, was named the defensive MVP for his performance.
During the 2008 season, Clark accumulated 78 tackles including 19 for losses. He had 11 quarterback sacks, 14 quarterback hurries and two forced fumbles.
Clark, a December graduate, is the No. 69 ranked player in the Rivals.com junior college top 100.
