JUCO DE has loaded offer list

A disappointing end to his junior college season hasn't stopped Brenham (Texas) Blinn C.C. star Emannuel Stephens from looking forward to the college career that awaits him. The 6-foot-3 defensive end enjoyed a dominating season at Blinn, and the college offers have followed.
"Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Kansas State and Washington State have all offered," Stephens said. "Arkansas is the one that's been talking to me the most."

Up next for Stephens is some planning for visits and a step up to the next level and right now Arkansas looks to be in the lead.
"I'm liking [Arkansas] pretty good because my wife likes it," he said. "As soon as we take the visit and go look at it and take a look at the apartments, I may be ready to make a decision."
When will the visit occur?
"Probably as soon as I get in contact with the coach," he said. "We scheduled it for December because we thought we'd win out but now that we've lost, it changes things."
Stephens also has been working hard on his academics and hopes to graduate in December, allowing him to enroll at the school of his choice in January.
As a defensive end this season, Stephens was very productive and though he has the ability to play outside linebacker, he likes playing with his hand down.
"I did pretty good," he said. "Overall sacks, I had 10. I had three touchdowns, one for a pick. I ran it back 50 yards. One I picked up and ran it back for 76 yards. One more fumble I returned for a touchdown but got called back.
"I like defensive end," he said. "I've played linebacker before and all that good stuff though so I can do it."
Other schools Stephens may take in on official visits are North Texas and Oklahoma State but currently he has Arkansas at the top of his list.
