Juco DE down to Badgers, Gators
It’s down to two teams for the services of Summit (Miss.) Southwest Mississippi J.C. strongside defensive end/tight end Markell Thompson. The 6-foot-7, 260-pound three-star prospect said he could even have a decision as soon as two weeks from now.
“It’s down to Florida and Wisconsin,” Thompson, who is originally from Wisconsin, said. “Both have very good programs, and I get along with the players and the coaches.”

It’s going to be a tough decision, he said.
“One school, Wisconsin, is where I’m from,” he said. “The other place, Florida, I have a lot of fun at. Both places would give me a good opportunity to get to the next level. It’s going to be a tough decision.”
And it’s going to be one he thinks about for a while.
“I’m going to chill out the next few weeks,” Thompson said. “I’ll then decide a week before signing day.”
