Juco DE changes visit plans
Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College defensive end Tyran Melvin had been planning on visiting Arizona's campus in December as the early signing period for junior college athletes neared. Now, the three-star prospect has a change of plans.
"I'm going to take one to South Carolina State soon," the 6-foot-2, 240-pound Melvin said. "I am not going to visit Arizona, now. I was planning on going out there this month, but I'm not now.

"They had me and a couple other guys they were going after for the same scholarship and I decided I didn't want to mess with that. I haven't talked to them in a while."
The South Carolina native said getting back to home is not an important factor.
"Playing at home is one of those things that is nice, but it isn't really important to me. I just want to play in the best place for me."
