Juco DE adds two more offers

North Dakota State College of Science defensive end Bobby Jones has added two scholarship offers to list of schools he is considering.
“Bobby took an unofficial visit to Wisconsin with one of his teammates last weekend,” NDSCS assistant coach Mike Shafer said. “Coach (Barry) Alvarez offered him a scholarship when they talked on Saturday. Bobby is very excited about their program. He really enjoyed his visit and he got a great tour of the campus and the facilities.”

The 6-foot-5, 275-pound Jones was not done receiving good news with the offer from the Big 10 school.
“On Monday, our office got a call from the South Carolina coaching staff,” Shafer said. “They were calling to tell us that they had just put the paperwork in the mail officially offering Bobby a scholarship to play for them. He is very excited about their program too.”
The two new offers bring Jones’ offer total to three after an earlier offer came from the University of Cincinnati.
Jones has also scheduled two official visits. He will travel to Michigan State the weekend of Nov. 5 and follow that up two weeks later with a trip to Cincinnati.
The South Dakota native is scheduled to graduate from NDSCS in December and will join his college choice in January for the spring semester.
