JUCO DB still rising

Junior college cornerback Mohammed Saleh has been patiently biding his time over the last several months and now he's being rewarded for all of his hard work.
The 5-foot-10, 190-pound defensive back from Orchard Park (N.Y.) Erie C.C. has several offers now, and plenty of other schools appear poised to get involved as well if they are satisfied with his grades.

"I've picked up a couple more offers," Saleh reported over the weekend. "More schools are waiting for my transcripts.
"Buffalo, Akron, Middle Tennessee, Utah State and FIU are the schools that are solid offers right now.
"Florida Atlantic, Iowa State and NC State are some of the schools that are waiting on my transcripts. Nebraska has talked to my head coach. I talked to Oklahoma State a couple of days ago and they want me to send in more film. They want to wait for my transcripts to come in. They don't necessarily want a JUCO but they might need one because of some academic issues with another guy."
Saleh said he is not close to a decision. He will announce his choice either in the middle or at the end of his season at Erie.
He plans on finishing up at his junior college in December so he can enroll in January at a Division I school.
"I've already got a visit schedule for Buffalo," he continued. "I've got a visit scheduled for a Thursday night game at Akron and one scheduled for Middle Tennessee. I don't actually have all the dates set but I think that's what I'm doing. Coach Raymond from Utah State wants to talk more to my coach because we play on Saturdays and they play on Saturdays so it might be hard for me to get out there."
