Juco DB still high on KSU

Fresno (Calif.) Fresno City C.C. three-star cornerback Lawrence Hood took an official visit to Kansas State back in late November, and weeks later it seems like the trip is still sticking with him.
"I've been talking to Kansas State a lot," he said. "San Diego State has been calling me and coming down to see me. Then also Nevada. They all want me to come for a visit and have offered me. But I still would say Kansas State is my top team.

"I enjoyed myself down there, I got to experience a lot of new things. It's a different atmosphere down there."
Hood, who is 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, said he's not sure when he'll make a decision. He said he's taking things day-to-day and trying to recover from finals.
"I'm just taking it day by day and focusing on my school work," he said. "I'm getting my life together a little bit. I'm talking things over with my parents and family before I make a decision."
"My family would like to see me stay closer to home just for the fact that they could come and watch me play. But at the same time they think it might be good for me to go off on my own. Truly I just want to be somewhere where the team will support me and actually want to see me get my degree. A team that is going to care whether I make it or not and take care of my business in the classroom."
