JUCO DB gets offers

Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) Chaffey College has another outstanding prospect who has picked up offers and a lot of recruiting interest in safety Dwayne Patterson (6-2, 195, 4.4).
Patterson is a rangy safety who has great vision and an eye for the football. He is also known as a big hitter.

On the season Patterson has helped Chaffey College to a 6-1 record. He has approximately 50 tackles, three interceptions, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery that he brought back 14 yards for a touchdown.
Washington State and BYU have offers on the table for Patterson. He is getting a lot of recruiting attention and offers could pop from Utah, UTEP, Arizona, Oregon and Oregon State.
Patterson will visit Washington State on December 10th and BYU on December 17th. UTEP is trying to set up a visit with Patterson for the first week of December.
Patterson’s current two favorites are Washington State and UTEP.
“Washington State was the school that I looked at when I was in high school,” Patterson said. “I like their style of defense and think I would fit in their defensive scheme.”
“I like UTEP because of their Coach Mike Price,” Patterson said. “I would like to go there and help Coach Price turn the UTEP program around.”
Patterson played his high school football at Redlands, Calif., high school and has three years to play two.
Patterson will graduate in May.
