Juco DB commits during visit

This past weekend Marcus Hicks took an official visit to Kansas. The Jayhawks were one of many schools that recently offered him after college recruiters realized Hicks was on schedule to graduate at the end of the spring semester.
At first it was believed Hicks would not graduate until late in the summer.

But he will be at Kansas the minute school gets out in May.
“I had a lot of fun on my visit,” Hicks said. “I committed to Kansas when I was there. I think I can go in and make an impact.”
Hicks was tied for fourth in the final California statistics for interceptions with six. He was an All-Foothill Conference selection.
