JUCO DB chooses New Mexico
Orchard Park (N.Y.) Erie C.C. cornerback Destry Berry took an official visit to New Mexico this weekend just about a month after receiving a written scholarship offer from the Lobos.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pound corner took an official visit to Buffalo last weekend and was scheduled to officially visit Akron next weekend.

What transpired this weekend caused Berry to end the recruiting process abruptly.
"I'm gonna be a Lobo!" an excited Berry told Rivals.com on Sunday evening after his official visit to New Mexico.
Berry was not immediately available for further comment but confirmed that he had, in fact, verbally committed to New Mexico.
