The official visits start this weekend for Maurice Porter when he takes a trip to Kansas State.
Porter, a 6-foot-1, 190 pound cover corner has been getting a lot of attention.
“He’s a big corner and he’s the type of guy everybody is looking for,” said Dan Hayes, the offensive coordinator at City College of San Francisco. “He’s a great prospect and he’s got the size. We play a lot of man-to-man cover and he plays it well. He’s getting a lot of attention.”
Porter was set to take a visit this weekend with teammate Jason Swanson to Kansas. But he plans to visit the Jayhawks the following weekend. Southern Cal has been calling lately and showing more interest.
He will graduate at semester. Porter has been a two-year starter for the Rams, who have one of the best junior college programs in the country.
