Juco back has decided

Fort Scott (Kan.) Fort Scott C.C. three-star running back Rodney Lovett was one of the top running backs in the Jayhawk Conference this past season.
The 5-foot-9, 210-pounder earned All-America honors, but was often overlooked by the other talented backs in the conference.

But in the end, that didn't keep the schools away from recruiting him. Despite being able to come back and play another season at Fort Scott, Lovett has decided to go ahead and make the leap to the Division I level.
"Rodney is going to go to the University of Louisiana-Monroe," Fort Scott coach Jeff Sims said. "He will be coached by Charlie Weatherby, who is from Fort Scott. We would have liked to have him back, but getting kids to the next level is very important to us, and we couldn't be prouder of Rodney."
So what type of back is Louisiana-Monroe getting?
"Rodney is a tough son of a gun," Sims said.
"He's the type of back that will always get you positive yards. He's always running with a good body lean and never gets knocked back. He's got such great vision. He's got some options still on the table to sign if he wants to take them, but there's a good chance he'll be back next season.
"I thought he was the best back in the conference. The only one that might have been better was Beau Johnson, who's now at Oklahoma State. If Rodney comes back, he's got a shot at being one of the best running backs in the nation."
