Juco All-American taking last visit

Garden City (Kan.) Community College defensive lineman Rodney Allen visited Kansas State last weekend. The four-star rated prospect headed back to Garden City saying he was 80 percent sure he would be heading to Manhattan to play his final two years of college football.
"The KU coaches came out to Garden City on Tuesday to see me," the 6-foot-3, 285-pound Allen said. "They wanted me to visit there this weekend and I am. Actually, I'm sitting here at the football offices right now."

The junior college All-American visited Cincinnati and Iowa State in December, but the battle has turned into a two-team race.
"I'm here checking out what they have to offer," he said. "I'm going to check it out and then head back to Garden City to think things over, before I make a decision. I'm still leaning to Kansas State. I enjoyed my visit there and I think it is a good situation for me. I'll know what I am going to do after I get back home and think things through for a little bit."
Allen finished the 2004 season with 62 tackles, including 11 for losses. He also had 10 quarterback sacks.
