Hallendale, Fla., two-way lineman Davin Joseph wanted to prove a point in last week's CaliFlorida Bowl. Point proven.
Joseph starred on both sides of the ball and simply dominated at times, helping Florida cruise to an impressive victory.
"I always have believed in myself and taught myself to not be cocky or a know-it-all," Joseph said. "I've just prided myself on going out there and doing my job."
And it was a job that he did quite well. He was equally as impressive on both sides of the ball, making it clear that he will probably get to pick where he wants to play in college.
"Michigan State, N.C. State and Oklahoma want me to play defense at first," Joseph said. "Ohio State likes me on offense, and the others said that if things don't work out on defense then there's always a spot for me on the o-line."
Joseph said he continues to list the Sooners as his top team, but he's not ready to make a decision quite yet.
"I have two more trips set," Joseph said. "I got to N.C. State this weekend. I'm going to try to work out Ohio State for Jan. 18, but it's officially set for Jan. 25. But we're going to bump it up."
