The 5-foot-11, 180-pound prospect plays linebacker for Edgewater, but has heard different pitches from different schools about his future position.
"Cincinnati and ECU are looking at me as an outside linebacker," Joseph said. "Miami, UCF, Florida, and LSU are looking at me as a defensive back, as a safety."
He has taken one Junior Day visit recently and hopes to see two more campuses this coming weekend.
"I went to UCF a few days ago," Joseph said. "I am going to Miami on Friday and I might be going to Florida on the 19th."
He talked about his trip to the nearby University of Central Florida to check out George O'Leary's program. He was joined by numerous other local prospects including his teammate Alton Howard and Orlando (Fla.) Jones offensive lineman Duaron Williams, among others.
"I went to UCF for their basketball game (against Memphis)," Joseph said. "The coaches were real nice. It was a cool campus. We all had fun just hanging out."
What is the possibility Joseph, as well as some of the other nearby prospects, become an 'Orlando Dream Team' and all opt to be a Knight?
"I don't know," Joseph said. "It is a possibility, but we don't know. It is too early to be worrying about that. It would be fun though."
When it comes time to make a decision, Joseph is just looking for the right fit.
"I want to find the right football program with good academics," Joseph said. "I also want to play early on."
At this point in his recruitment, he admits that one school stands out amongst the six offers.
"Miami right now," Joseph said. "I just like the coaches and everything about the school. I always liked Miami. They have always been on top since the start."
As a junior, Joseph had 141 tackles, seven sacks, and 25 tackles for loss.
