Penn State defensive end commitment Daniel Joseph is making the drive east to see the Nittany Lions in their final home game of the 2015 season.

"I am going out to Pennsylvania this weekend for sure," Joseph said. "They actually play Michigan, so it should be a pretty tough game."
The 6-foot-3, 245-pound Joseph made his commitment early in the summer. The strength of his interest in Penn State has not diminished during that time frame.
"They have a good record going on right now, but at the same time they still have room to improve which I kind of like, because if there is room to improve I can definitely be able to go in and contribute to that process," Joseph said.
Joseph had a strong senior campaign at Lake Forest Academy, north of Chicago, registering 71 tackles, eight tackles for loss, two sacks and two interceptions, including one he returned 95 yards for a touchdown. LFA moved Joseph all around in the Caxy's defense and Penn State could look to do the same when he arrives on campus next year.
"I could end up playing d-end, d-tackle or nose tackle," Joseph said. "At the end of the day, once I get there I'll see where they want me to play and develop to the best of my (ability) there."
Although his commitment is in place, Joseph is still focused on the matter-at-hand, which is finishing up his high school career.
"I'm still a high school student, so I'm (focused on) keeping my grades up," Joseph said. "Yeah I'm committed, but at the same time I'm still not there yet. Penn State is the goal right now."
A three-star prospect ranked as the No. 35 strongside defensive end in the 2016 class, Joseph has received interest from another Big Ten program this month.
"So far it's only been Michigan State. That's been more recent in the past 3-4 weeks that they have been in contact," Joseph said. "I'm still pretty set with Penn State. I will be going on my visit this weekend, see how it is. Right now I don't plan on taking any other officials."
Besides his efforts on defense, Joseph also played tight end this fall for Lake Forest Academy and recorded 22 receptions for 400 yards and 10 touchdowns.
