Jordan shines, earns offer

Dallas (Texas) Greenhill linebacker Alvin Jordan wanted to take in the NIKE Training Camp at Texas A&M this past weekend and get himself noticed. It looks like he got the job done with one offer already in hand and more possibly on the way.
Wyoming made the first offer for the 6-foot-2, 225-pounder after showing well in position drills and one-on-ones during the NIKE event. There was definite some excitement in Jordan with the possibility of more coming.

"I had a really good camp," Jordan said. "The day after the camp the Wyoming offer came. I've been talking to the coaches at Iowa State a lot to. They said an offer is coming. Those are the only two right now that I know about."
The first offer definitely was something that impressed him.
"I was excited because I slipped during some of my testing runs," Jordan said. "I talked to the coaches briefly on the phone. They just said that they liked what they saw at camp and it made it easy to offer."
Jordan hasn't set up any visits, but says that when his schedule calms down, plans will be made.
"I'm trying to get out to Iowa State," he said. "I'd also like to get to Arkansas and A&M for some camps."
Jordan is being recruited by Wyoming assistant Bryan Applewhite.
