Jones wants to see other schools

Delvin Jones is a four-star athlete from south Florida that has already made his college decision. Jones, 6-6 and 230 pounds, is from Miami Palmetto High School and he's headed to Knoxville to play for the University of Tennessee. But despite the recent decision to the Volunteers he's still wants to see some other schools.
"I am still solid with the Vols," Jones said. "I talk with them so much and I still feel good about the decision. I really am trying to get up there during the season for a game. I would love to see it up there."

Jones is still receiving a ton of interest. In fact earlier today he received a new scholarship offer.
"I have been talking with some other schools and just got a new offer today from Arkansas. We talked today. I have seen them play a few times. I am not sure if I will visit them or not.
"But I would like to visit Nebraska, Ole Miss, and Alabama.
"I have been talking with Nebraska a lot lately and checking them out on TV. I saw them against Virginia Tech and I like what I see. I really want to get up there and visit them. I am going to try and set something up.
"I know someone up at Ole Miss. He used to be at Palmetto and now he's part of the Ole Miss program. I am going to try and visit with Jeff Scott, who has committed to them.
"Ed Stinson is a friend of mine. We knew each other real well as kids and played basketball together. He likes Alabama and I would like to check them out. He likes it there and they have a terrific defense."
This season Palmetto is off to a 2-1 start. Jones is playing receiver on offense and everywhere on defense.
"On defense I am playing defensive end, defensive tackle, outside linebacker and even bandit (safety/linebacker). Playing all those positions keeps me on my toes. But I have to admit that I kind of like it.
"Most schools are recruiting me as a defensive end. At first I wanted to play on offense as a receiver. Now I want to play defense. Actually, I just want to get on the field."
