Position: Linebacker
Size and speed: Jones is 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds. He has been timed in the 40-yard dash at 4.5 seconds.
Statistics: Jones made 110 tackles including five sacks during his junior season. He has a 3.4 GPA.
Favorite Schools: Ohio State, Michigan, and Stanford are among the schools Jones is interested in.
Skinny: Jones has the potential to be one of the top linebacker prospects in the state of Michigan this season. He has good size and runs well.
"I started getting mail from colleges my sophomore year," Jones said.
"I'm interested in Stanford, Michigan, Ohio State, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Michigan State a little. I don't have a favorite really."
"I visited Michigan State, Colorado, and Ohio State. I was supposed to go to Wisconsin Saturday, but I couldn't. I was supposed to go to the Rivals junior day at Ohio State on Sunday so I needed to do my homework Saturday."
Jones was impressed with what he saw at the Rivals junior day.
"It was interesting," he said. "It was informative. I learned a lot of stuff."
"I'm going to Ohio State and Michigan's camps this summer. And probably Florida's."
