It hasn't been a good night for defensive end Delvin Jones. Just 90 minutes or so ago he found out Tennessee head coach Lane Kiffin accepted the head coaching position at Southern Cal. Jones, from Miami Palmetto High School, was not happy about that move.
"Please tell me what is going on," Jones said. "I found out about 90 minutes ago. No one will answer the phone up there. I am trying to call all those coaches and no one is answering their (cell) phone. I haven't heard from any one. I feel lost right now."
Jones had committed to the Vols months ago. But this recent change has changed his mind.

"Heck no I am not committed (to Tennessee). I am opening things back up. Sure I will see what happens at Tennessee but right now they don't have a coaching staff."
Jones said he was slated to make an official visit to Knoxville this coming weekend. With that now canceled he has one more visit lined up at this time and that's to Ole Miss (1-22) the following weekend.
Jones is a four-star defensive end prospect and a member of the Rivals250.
"Right now I have only that one other visit (Ole Miss). I will get with my coach tomorrow and we'll try and sort some things out."
