Jones still has two offers

Absecon (N.J.) Holy Spirit all-purpose back Nigel Jones holds offers from Rutgers and Temple, and he's hoping that offer list will grow in the weeks ahead.
In spite of a slow start to his junior season because of a sprained ankle that had to heal, the 5-foot-9, 198-pound Garden State back has managed to pick up two offers and hold onto them.

Jones hasn't been able to visit any schools recently because travel plans just haven't materialized. He's hoping to change that soon.
"I'm trying to save up some money and visit some schools whenever I can," Jones said. "I want to hit some camps up.
"I know Cincinnati is interested. Temple has offered. Rutgers still has their offer on the table and we talk a lot. Western Michigan is interested and hopefully Syracuse will be more interested if I go to their camp," he explained.
Jones said he keeps in weekly contact with the coaches from Rutgers. One of the members of the Scarlet Knights' staff visited Holy Spirit on Friday. He spoke with a coach from Temple last week as well.
Does he have any favorites?
"No, I'm just keeping my options open," Jones replied. "I just haven't been to many schools yet."
In just six games last fall Jones rushed for 824 yards and seven touchdowns.
