Jones sets two official visits

The process is starting to come to a close for Arlington (Texas) Seguin wide receiver Anthony Jones. Since moving from Florida before his senior year, things have definitely changed and that includes his list of favorite schools.
Jones' uncle Larry Dukes said that the process is long, but the first official visits are finally going to be made here in the last two weekends of January.

"Anthony is taking his first official visit this weekend to Oklahoma State," Dukes said. "Tennessee will then be the last weekend. Those two along with Illinois are really the ones he talks about the most right now."
His trip to Illinois that was scheduled for Jan. 13 did not take place.
"No, he didn't make that trip because we had some other things come up," Dukes said about Jones' original plans. "We've been there before though on an unofficial visit, so we've seen what's up there and what they have to offer."
Jones says that this long process seems to be finally coming to a close. It has been an interesting journey for his nephew.
"It's a process, a long process man," Dukes said. "We're trying to get it down to that small list of schools and look at all the details. What has been good though is that his grades have continued to improve ever since he moved to Texas."
"We're working on the Clearinghouse stuff right now and that's what we're trying to finish up."
Jones is rated as the No. 48 wide receiver in the country.
