Jones sees major interest

Sheriron Jones has six offers and the four-star quarterback said last weekend at the RCS Southern California that more could be on the way.
The Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde standout said Ohio State and Maryland have reached out a lot and are expected to stop by his school during spring practice.

"Those two are talking to me the most," Jones said.
So far, the 6-foot-2, 189-pound prospect has been offered by Akron, Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Indiana and Nebraska. The Huskers were Jones' latest offer but the four-star said he's not rushing any decision this early.
"That's a big one," Jones said of Nebraska. "I'm trying to get there but I'm trying to get everywhere. Anywhere I can get to is where I want to go.
"My dad and I are thinking about going to both Arizona schools so that's about it. That's not necessarily it but those are the ones we basically have planned right now."
With the six offers and more expected - and the new interest from Ohio State and Maryland - the Rancho Verde quarterback is nowhere near making his commitment.
Programs from across the country could get involved in his senior season and Jones said he wants to wait it out and then make a choice later on.
"It's far too early," Jones said. "I have six offers so I'm going to wait a little longer.
"I'd rather just wait it out and let them see my senior season. I'm going to wait it out."
