Jones opening eyes

Waynesboro (Miss.) Wayne County 2016 defensive tackle Benito Jones already holds scholarship offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Southern Miss, and he earned region defensive MVP honors and first-team all-state as a sophomore.
Word is getting around about the standout defensive tackle, and the attention is picking up for the defensive playmaker.

He has yet to take any visits this year, but he has visited Ole Miss and Mississippi State in the past.
"They showed me a lot of love there. I liked the atmosphere and it's a great school," Jones said of his visit to Ole Miss.
What about Mississippi State?
"They showed the same amount of love as Ole Miss and I loved the atmosphere and it's a great school," Jones said.
Of the two one school has shown a bit more interest at this moment.
"Ole Miss, they've sent me letters and try to email me every once in awhile," Jones said.
He also grew up a fan of another SEC program.
"I always liked watching Alabama," Jones said. "I liked their defense and how they play and I can be close to home."
He has yet to visit Tuscaloosa, but he hopes to change that in the near future.
"I was thinking about going this year," Jones said.
He has yet to set a date for a potential visit to Tuscaloosa or anywhere else right now.
