Jones on board with LSU

Just last week, Rivals250 offensive tackle Jarvis Jones announced that he had in fact made a commitment to LSU. However, things stand in a different direction this week according to his mother.
The 6-foot-7, 250-pound Jones and his mother have apparently stepped back from the earlier statement of committing. Jones' mother, Angela Mayberry, says that her son is not committed to any one school but has narrowed things down to three in particular.

"We're not committed to anyone right now," Mayberry said. "We're going through the process and giving every school a chance to spend time on this. We want to get things in front of us and look at this thing to make the best possible decision opposed to going off of emotions."
"We're down to Texas A&M, LSU, and Oklahoma."
Jones' mother says that all three schools have been down for an in-home visit at least once so far. The nation's No. 15 rated offensive tackle has yet to officially visit the Aggies, the Tigers, or the Sooners.
That is in the works right now.
"We're going to sit down this week and iron out all the official visits," Jones' mother said. "We'll nail down some dates."
When Jones made his commitment announcement, he mentioned that his official visit date to LSU would be on Dec. 15. It doesn't appear to have changed yet but it is unknown when he'll visit Texas A&M or Oklahoma.
Jones' Lamar Consolidated team was recently dealt a loss in the semi-finals of the playoffs to San Antonio Alamo Heights.
