Jones not rushing decision

Hezekiah Jones was out in California this past weekend to compete with Team Texas in the IMG 7v7 West Regional and he thought it was a perfect time to head over to UCLA for an unofficial visit.
It was an excellent trip for the 2017 four-star wide receiver from Stafford, Texas, especially since he landed his latest offer from the Bruins.

"They told me they were really excited for me to come up there," Jones said. "It's a blessing to just be out here in California playing 7on7. It's an extra perk to go over there.
"I always liked UCLA. I like how they run their offense. The environment is really nice."
So far, Jones has landed offers from Baylor, Houston, Michigan, TCU, Texas A&M, Texas State, Texas Tech and UCLA.
That's a pretty heady offer list for someone who is just going to be a junior next season and that's one reason why the Stafford standout is not rushing a list of favorites.
Jones, who is on the Rivals.com 2017 Rivals100 to Watch list, said he has no leaders, no schools that really stand out and that he plans to take his time and be deliberate through the recruiting process.
The offer from UCLA is definitely something he will consider - especially after Jones enjoyed his time in California this past weekend and his trip to Westwood - but with plenty of other interest and a lot of major offers, the four-star plans to take his time.
"Nothing really stands out right now," Jones said. "It's really too early.
"I'm not looking for any offers. I'm going to get what I get and then make a decision later on."
Jones was one of the top underclassmen at the recent Rivals Camp Series in Dallas.
