Jones looking for his first offer

Mulberry (Fla.) offensive guard Kyle Jones has yet to land his first offer, but a number of schools are showing interest in the 6-foot-4, 290-pound interior offensive lineman.
"I have heard from Western Kentucky, Notre Dame, Boston College, Duke, Miami - they have all sent me a lot of mail," Jones said.

The Sunshine State prospect says that one school has indicated an offer is very likely in the near future, once they completely evaluate his junior film.
"Western Kentucky has," Jones said. "I am talking to Coach (Raymond) Woodie. I've talked to him and sent my transcripts to him. He has said that he likes my film and he gave it to the offensive line coach to do further evaluation."
At this stage of the process, Jones has yet to take any visits to check out schools. He is making some plans for next month and into the summer.
"Right now, we are hoping to make a visit to Western Kentucky over spring break (in March)," Jones said. "I am also planning to attend summer camps at the University of Miami, Florida State, and Florida - as many as I can."
Jones camped at Florida State and Miami last summer.
The talented lineman, who grew up a fan of the Florida Gators, said that he is simply looking for a place that fits him and gives him a chance to play at the next level.
As a junior, Jones earn all-area honors while playing on both the offensive and defensive lines for Mulberry.
