Etiwanda (Calif.) wide out Marvin Jones, a recent addition to the new Rivals 100 has had a pair of Pac 10 schools, Oregon and Cal, at the top of his list for some time now. Jones set an official visit to Oregon some time ago and just locked in his trip to Cal as well.
Jones, 6-3, 180 pounds is one of the elite prospects in the West this year and a very talented pass catcher. We love his combination of size, athleticism and play making ability. Through two games this season, Jones has 15 catches for 163 yards and a touchdown plus 22 tackles from his safety position.
On the recruiting front, Jones has not wavered much in talking about his top schools as he still has Cal and Oregon leading the way.

"Those two teams are both very exciting to watch," Jones said. "I've watched both of them this year and I like those offenses a lot. Oregon runs the spread and that's what I really like about them.
"Cal is always strong offensively and I can't wait to see those two teams go head to head with each other. My official visit to Oregon is (Sept. 28) when they play Cal so that should be a great game and a fun visit.
"I'm visiting Cal (Oct. 12) when they play Oregon State. Those are the only two visits I've set up so far. I need to look over my schedule and see what other visits I can take during the season.
"In addition to Cal and Oregon, I also like Oregon State, Arizona and Arizona State. I would like to take all five trips but I just have to see if I can fit them all in. We'll see, but right now, I'm just real excited about my first two visits and I'll go from there."
