Jones lands new Pac-12 offer

Sheriron Jones continues to see his recruitment stay busy and with a new offer from Arizona, the 2015 quarterback could not be more thrilled.
The Wildcats have made a lot of quarterback news recently by landing a 2014 commitment and getting the transfer of former Texas QB Connor Brewer and Jones is just happy to be on the offer list.

So far, the Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde standout has landed offers from Arizona, Arizona State and Akron and Jones said he's going to seriously consider the Wildcats.
"They came by in the spring," Jones said. "We didn't really talk that much because they were busy recruiting the senior class or whatever and I was just giving them a shout out here and there to talk to them.
"My coach let me know I needed to talk with them and so I did and that's when I learned about the offer."
Jones, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect, said he's especially excited about the Arizona offer because coach Rich Rodriguez has been involved with a lot of good quarterbacks in his career.
There's no question the Wildcats can put up big numbers and Jones wants to see how things play out as his recruitment continues.
"It's pretty exciting because I know they can do better than what they did last year," Jones said. "They just had an off-year. The things they are doing, it looks great. They just have to work harder.
"It's very exciting. Everything is starting to pick up. Junior year is when everybody wants to look at you. Everything happens this year and in the senior year they already know what's going on."
Jones has three offers and is also receiving a good amount of interest from BYU, Indiana, Michigan, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UCLA, Washington and others.
