Jones landing more interest

Sheriron Jones already has an early Pac-12 offer and many other schools are now showing interest in the 2015 quarterback from Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde.
Arizona State and Akron have offered the 6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect who looked the part at the Rivals Camp Series in Los Angeles and he said a bunch of other programs including Oregon, Tennessee, Indiana and Arizona have been sending mail.

Jones, who recently said Texas A&M was getting really interested in his recruitment and the Aggies would be one of the frontrunners if they offered, has some camp dates set up in the coming weeks that might lead to new interest and possibly other offers.
"The coach from Tennessee added me on Facebook the other day," Jones said. "Indiana is sending me a lot of letters and telling me about the school. Oregon is also sending me a lot of mail along with Arizona.
"That's about it right now. I've been going to a lot of camps. I'm going back to UCLA this Friday, I was already there once, and sometime next month I'm going to Arizona State. I don't know where else, I just planned those two so far."
The 2015 quarterback said his communication with Arizona State has been limited since the Sun Devils offered but he understands that coaching staff is more focused on the 2014 recruiting class.
Jones has developed a good relationship with some Arizona State coaches and getting out there to meet with them and check out the campus could be important in his recruitment especially since the Sun Devils have already offered.
"That's going to be big," Jones said. "That's going to be fun. Lately, since they can't call me, I can call them, the recruitment has been a little laid back since we're just getting things going.
"They've already offered me so the coaches said they need to get to know me better and then when they're allowed to contact me and stuff it's going to get even more intense."
