Jones hoping to bounce back

The recruiting process has moved more slowly that Nigel Jones may have hoped but the New Jersey back has one last chance to stand out and make a name for himself.
Jones is coming off an injury-plagued junior season that saw him miss half of his team's games. In the games he did play in he split carries, sharing the spotlight, so he didn't get to showcase his skills as much as he may have liked.

The 5-foot-9, 200-pound back is back to full health and is ready to show what he can do.
Some schools have been keeping in touch with him and will be monitoring his progress this fall.
"Temple has offered. I still have that offer," Jones explained. "I actually need to get in touch with their coach. I'll probably do that tonight.
"Right now I haven't been trying to get in contact with many coaches because I've been busy with football and work. It's just been the usual stuff. Cincinnati, James Madison, Rutgers and Western Michigan are still in there."
At the beginning of the summer Jones visited James Madison. He also visited Temple during one of the Owls' camps just to make an appearance and express his interest.
"I think this fall I'm going to James Madison on October 8 during our bye week. That's the only one I know of right now."
Cincinnati is also interested.
"They've said they want to see me in a game this fall. It's tough because I was hurt last year but they said I'm definitely one of their top running backs."
