Jones doesnt make it to Oregon

Four-star wide receiver Derrick Jones (6-0, 170, 4.4) from Long Beach (Calif.) Poly was scheduled to visit Oregon this weekend but the talented wide receiver canceled his visit.
“Derrick still likes Oregon a lot,” Mr. Jones, Derrick’s Dad said. “He canceled his visit though.”

“Derrick is scheduled to visit Florida State this coming weekend (Jan. 16th),” Mr. Jones said.
At this time the University of Miami called and Mr. Jones politely excused himself.
Jones is scheduled to visit Miami on January 30th and he already visited ASU on October 4th.
Mr. Jones wasn’t sure if his son was going to reschedule Oregon or not.
USC won’t get an official visit, at least not yet; Jones is scheduled to visit red hot Cal on January 23rd.
It should be noted that Cal was a major topic of conversation at the CaliFlorida All-Star practice.
Jones is a member of the Rivals.com Rivals100 team and is considered as the nation’s number 32 prospect at any position.
Rivals.com ranks Jones as the nation’s number nine wide receiver prospect.
Jones also finds himself on the Rivals.com California Top 100 team where he ranks as the Golden State’s number 6 prospect at any position.
Jones was also a member of the Rivals.com Super West 60 team and landed as the West’s number 11 prospect.
Jones caught 49 passes for 892 yards and ten touchdowns in 2003 for a team that was the Southern Section CIF Division I runner-up.
