Johnson up to eight offers

Dorian Johnson of Belle Vernon, Pa. is quietly becoming one of the more sought after offensive linemen in his region. Johnson added his latest offer from Cincinnati a few days ago, and then hit the road on Saturday to check out another school that had already offered him.
"The West Virginia visit was great," said Johnson, who is 6-foot-6 and 280-pounds. "We got to see all of the facilities in the Puskar Center, which I thought was really good, and I got to catch up with a couple of coaches."

Now with offers from West Virginia, Cincinnati, Boston College, Virginia Tech, UConn, Maryland, Pittsburgh and Toledo, Johnson is still trying to grasp all of his recent recruiting success.
"It's definitely an exciting experience for me to get a chance to look at and weigh out all of my options," said Johnson.
After visiting West Virginia this weekend, Johnson will try to continue his busy schedule in the coming weeks.
"I'm going to Penn State's junior day this Saturday, maybe Michigan State the following weekend and Pitt for an unofficial visit some time this month or next month," said Johnson.
Johnson will also not back away from competition, as he plans to attend several camps and combines.
"I'm going to Pitt, Notre Dame, and the Ohio State camps in the summer and the Nike SPARQ Combine on March 15th," said Johnson. "Maybe I'll also go to a combine out at Gateway High School, which is the NUC Senior Combine."
Johnson is eager to showcase a few of his strong points during these events.
"I want to prove my athleticism and my technique," said Johnson. "I've been working pretty hard during the off-season on the little things to help my form a little better."
