Johnson talks two big visits

Keyshawn Johnson, Jr., recently returned from unofficial visits to Ohio State and Clemson and even though it's still really early in his recruitment it was valuable for him to get out and see some campuses.
The 2017 wide receiver from Mission Viejo, Calif., said he was impressed by both trips and since he has offers from the Buckeyes and the Tigers it was good to see both schools.

Ohio State definitely did a good job as Johnson gets going with the recruiting process.
"Ohio State was good," Johnson said. "I talked to coach Urban Meyer and he was really nice. He was telling me how this is a receiver school, how Cris Carter and all of them went to Ohio State.
"I talked to the receivers coach and he told me the same thing. I really like the facilities and the campus there."
Johnson was on both trips with fellow 2017 recruit Darnay Holmes from Newbury Park, Calif., and Clemson offered them on the visit.
The Mission Viejo standout definitely liked Clemson - and how it uses its wide receivers.
"Clemson was great," Johnson said. "I liked the weather and I liked the coaches. I talked to coach (Dabo) Swinney and Jeff Scott and Chad Morris. They basically showed us the whole campus and all the facilities and we went to see the practice for about an hour.
"It was a nice practice. They didn't have pads on but I could tell they're going to be good this year.
"The receivers coach showed Darnay and me a slide show of all the recent receivers like Sammy Watkins and C.J. Spiller and Jacoby Ford. He showed us some of the plays and all the big plays Sammy made."
So far, Johnson has been offered by Arizona State, Clemson, Florida State, Louisville, Miami, Ohio State, SMU, Tennessee, UCLA and West Virginia.
