Johnson solid with Wake Forest

College coaches continue to pursue Southfield, Mich., four-star safety Dior Johnson even after he made a commitment to Wake Forest in August.
"I have been hearing from Louisville and Indiana," Johnson said. "Indiana has been trying to get me down to the campus."

Despite that continued interest from other schools, though, Johnson's commitment to Wake Forest remains solid.
"I believe in my decision and Wake Forest is the spot for me," Johnson said. "I like what I have been seeing, then recruiting-wise we have one of the top (classes) in Wake Forest history."
Since his commitment, Johnson has remained in close contact with head coach Dave Clawson as well as assistant coaches Mike Elko and John Hunter.
"They tell me it is a process, to keep working each and every game," Johnson said. "When I get down there on my official visit they want me to just check out the campus. I'll be down on my official visit soon. We talked about December or January."
The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Johnson is ranked as the No. 13 safety in the 2015 class, but he has also been excelling at wide receiver for Southfield High this fall. He estimated his current stats at 55 tackles and eight total touchdowns.
