Johnson shuffles his visits

Compton (Calif.) Dominguez two way standout Marvin Johnson has done some re-shuffling with his official visits but now has four locked in. The athlete also has an intriguing top two but is mainly focusing on the Dons playoff run.
Johnson, 5-10, 180 pounds stars at both quarterback and safety and is getting looks at both sides of the ball as well. The Dons are 10-1 on the season after winning their 1st round playoff game and Johnson has thrown for over 1,000 yards and is closing in on rushing for over 1,000 yards as well.

"We're rolling and all I can think about is making it to the finals for a rematch with Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks)," Johnson said. "They knocked us out in the semi-finals last year and we're hoping to get a chance to play them against this year. I'm not overlooking anyone, we have some tough games ahead but we're excited about the chance to play them."
Johnson was originally scheduled to visit Colorado this weekend but said he's now going to visit Mississippi State instead.
"I still like Colorado but just wanted to check out Mississippi State," Johnson said. "I still have Fresno State (Jan. 6) and then I have Oregon (Jan. 13) and Boise State (Jan. 20). I'm leaving that last visit open but I do want to take all five trips. I'll probably take one in December but I don't want to plan anything right now because I don't know how far we're going in the playoffs. Hopefully we make it all the way and the championship game is set for December 9."
Johnson said he's still waiting on an offer from Fresno State and Oregon.
"My top two are Idaho and Oregon," Johnson said. "I like Idaho because it's fairly close to home and they're recruiting me at running back which is where I want to play. I like Oregon because it's also close to home, they're in the Pac 10 and they have a really good program just about every season."
