Greg Johnson compiled outstanding numbers during his sophomore season at Los Angeles (Calif.) Augustus Hawkins and even more coaches are getting involved.

"A couple coaches have been coming to our campus and talking to me, Jalen (Hall) and Joseph (Lewis) and that really helps all of us.
"It's amazing because I'm only a sophomore and all these schools are showing interest in me so that's a good feeling. It just tells me I have to work harder and more schools will come."
Johnson is an especially attractive prospect because he can be utilized on offense, defense or special teams. Some schools like him at running back but others have talked corner because of his athletic ability.
It's still really early in his recruitment so Johnson isn't in a rush.
"I guess they want me to play both ways and do returns on punts and kicks, too," Johnson said. "I'm open to everybody. I believe every college is a good college and I can go and get a good education."
Something that could be big in Johnson's recruitment is playing with Lewis and Hall in college. The three prospects have discussed going to the same school and it could be a huge boon for one program.
"I want to play together," Johnson said.
"I want all three of us to go to the same school. That would be cool. We are all good and we can all make plays. I believe if any college will have us three at the same school it would be something great."
USC and Tennessee are showing new interest in Johnson, who finished with 2,371 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns on 147 carries this season.
