Dionte has played both linebacker and fullback during his senior season after playing linebacker his junior year.
"Ohio State was talking about offering, they just wanted to see me play fullback this year," Johnson said. "They came to one of my games."
"Then I called (Ohio State assistant) coach Fickell. He's recruiting me. Then (Ohio State running back's) coach Spencer called and offered. I called him back and committed. But I haven't talked to coach Tressel yet."
"Growing up here, Ohio State is something I love. I dreamed about playing for them."
"Pitt and Bowling Green were the other two schools I was looking at. Bowling Green offered me and Pitt was going to."
Johnson has rushed for approximately 300 yards and scored 4 times as Eastmoor is 5-2. He is also his team's leading tackler.
