Johnson names Top 10

Clearwater (Fla.) Countryside defensive back Mike Johnson released a top ten of Florida State, Louisville, Texas Tech, Virginia, Vanderbilt, UCF, Rutgers, Syracuse, Purdue, and Arizona in no particular order.
It's quite the list with schools ranging from the ACC, Big 12, Big Ten, SEC, and even the PAC-12. Johnson is listed as a 3-star cornerback and is working hard to improve his ranking.

This weekend he will be in Bradenton at the IMG Academy for the NFA/IMG 7-on-7 National Championships. After the 7-on-7 wraps up he will focus on taking unofficial visits to FSU, Louisville, Rutgers, UCF, and Vanderbilt in July.
"All of the schools I plan on visiting are recruiting me very hard right now. I don't have a favorite, but each staff has done a good job communicating with me," noted Johnson.
He and his cousin Artavis Scott have discussed playing in college together, so a lucky school could get a package deal although their plan is hardly concrete.
Johnson said, "We've talked about it, but no school has offered us to play with each other. I have to do what's best. It's great that I can talk to him and he can always do the same with me."
When asked which schools he has the best relationship with the coaches recruiting him?
Johnson stated," It would have to be FSU, Louisville, and UCF. I have a good relationship with Coach [Kirk] Callahan at UCF. Coach [Sherrone] Moore at Louisville is cool. I also like Coach [Lawrence] Dawsey at FSU."
The tough defensive back does not have a timetable for his decision and said he will announce when it "feels right."
One thing he does know for sure is he will take official visits to FSU and Louisville this fall.
