Johnson looking for more offers

Athlete Delando Johnson of Towson (Md.) Calvert Hall has a few early offers, but now he is looking for more. He helped this process along by excelling at two recent events, and will to hit up other camps and events during the spring and summer.
"Recruiting has been good," said Johnson. "I just went to the Nike Combine and the 5-Stat Showcase. I've been talking to coaches and receiving mail."

Johnson discussed his performance at the two events.
"I did really well," said Johnson, who is 6-foot-2 and 190-pounds. "I made the top receivers list at the 5-Star Showcase and I did good at the Nike Combine. I wanted to prove that I'm not just hype, that I'm a baller and that I can play with anyone."
Johnson has early offers from East Carolina, Toledo and Youngstown State, and believes that South Carolina, Rutgers and Virginia may be next in line to pull the trigger. When it comes to camps and events, he has two scheduled at this time.
"I'm going to Moorehouse for a 7-on-7, I'm taking a visit to Pitt and I'll be going to other camps during the summer," said Johnson.
While Johnson excelled as a receiver at the recent Showcase, he is seeing most of his recruiting interest at either safety or rover.
"I'm hoping to find a school with a good defense, a family atmosphere, good academics and a nice campus," said Johnson.
