Johnson has offer and favorite

Highland Park, Mich., running back Darius Johnson says he is looking at the Big Ten conference as well as others, but one school in particular stands out.
"I'm looking at every Big Ten school," Johnson said. "And I'm looking at Cincinnati, Kentucky, and Ball State. That's it."

When asked to name some of the Big Ten schools he would be most interested in, Johnson said, "Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan State. They've all been to my school.
"And I went to Central Michigan for a junior day and Michigan State for a junior day."
Those won't be Johnson's only visits.
"I'm going to some camps," he said. "Probably Michigan State, Indiana, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa."
One of those schools stands out.
"Right now Indiana is No. 1," Johnson said. "They're my only offer. I'm making a trip there next week for a regular visit, and I'll go to their camp."
The 6-foot-0 and 200-pound Johnson has run wild the past two seasons. He rushed for 2167 yards and 22 touchdowns his sophomore year and another 2293 yards and 30 touchdowns his junior season.
