Johnson focusing on five schools

Denton, Texas offensive lineman Herman Johnson has begun to narrow his list of schools, and now is focusing on five schools.
"Things have been pretty steady," the 6-foot-8, 350-pound Johnson said. "A lot of schools calling and talking to me. But, nothing out of the ordinary."
Johnson's list of five top schools includes Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Colorado and LSU.
"Those are the five I like the most right now," he said. "I really don't have an order to them at all. I'm just wanting to visit the schools and find out what is the best place for me. If I don't think I need to take all the visits, then I won't. If I find a place that I like and am comfortable with, then I probably wouldn't need to take any other visits."
The first school to have a visit scheduled is the No. 1 ranked Sooners.
"I'm going to visit Oklahoma on Dec. 12," the three-star rated Johnson said. "That's the only visit I have lined up so far. But, I'm sure some of the others will be coming before long."
