Johnson doubles his offer total

It has been a productive last few weeks for three-star athlete Delando Johnson of Towson (Md.) Calvert Hall, who has watched his offer total double. Johnson also attended his first summer camp this weekend and will hit the road for a huge tour of schools this summer.
"I got four new offers and a lot more interest from a lot of places," said Johnson, who is 6-foot-2 and 180-pounds. "The spring has been great."
Johnson's most recent offers arrived from Wake Forest, Boston College, Buffalo and Old Dominion, which joined his previous offers from Illinois, East Carolina, Toledo and Youngstown State. He is also claiming increased interest from Penn State, Arizona, Ohio State, Rutgers and Washington.

"It feels good," said Johnson. "I'm just enjoying the recruiting stage. It's nice."
On Saturday, Johnson participated at the Penn State summer camp.
"It went very well," said Johnson. "It increased my liking of them and their liking of me."
Starting June 8th, Johnson will hit the road for a bus tour with several of his high school and 7-on-7 teammates.
"We're going to Bowling Green, Ohio State, Cincinnati, West Virginia, Notre Dame and Michigan State, and then Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee," said Johnson.
Johnson will look to gather a great deal of information on this tour, and also hopes to add to his offer total. At this time he still plans to make his final decision on National Signing Day.
"I'm looking for nice weather, a good education, a good football program and a family atmosphere," said Johnson.
