Johnson considers commitment

Justin Johnson is taking an unofficial visit to Duke this weekend and if he likes the place the Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco wide receiver is strongly considering a commitment.
"If I like it on June 3 when I visit the campus and throughout the tour I'll probably talk to the coach and my parents about committing," Johnson said. "I already thought about committing there.
"I like their overall school academically, I like the way they throw the ball and they're one of the top passing teams in the ACC so I'll get the ball a lot."

Johnson, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound prospect who finished with 27 receptions for 365 yards and one touchdown in his junior season, said many other programs are showing interest but that won't delay a decision on Duke.
If things go well in Durham this weekend then Johnson will seriously consider pledging to the Blue Devils.
"If I really like it, I'll commit," Johnson said.
"I know even though I commit more offers could come and then I can take those into consideration, too. I've said before I really like Stanford so if they offer that would be a possibility, too."
This summer could get interesting for Johnson, who looked good at a 7-on-7 tournament in Redondo Beach, Calif., this past weekend.
He is expected to attend camps at Stanford, San Diego State and San Jose State. The Cardinal has always been a favorite so if he gets an offer from them he'd have to reconsider things in his recruitment.
Johnson said Colorado, Boise State, Arizona State and Utah have also been showing increased interest this spring. Washington and Cal have also been in contact.
