Johnson adds offers

Rowlett, Texas defensive tackle Cedric Johnson continues to see the interest mount. SMU became his most recent offer this week joining Baylor, Tulsa, and Washington State, and he continues to receive attention from the likes of LSU and Oklahoma.
Since the end of football season he has been able to visit LSU, Oklahoma, Baylor, Texas, and Houston, and three of those trips stand above the others.

"I liked Baylor, Oklahoma, and LSU," Johnson said.
"I liked Baylor's because I liked the overall atmosphere. I liked how they practice and I liked the coaching staff and strength staff. I just liked them in general.
"OU, it's a winning program there and I liked them too a lot.
"LSU, I liked their academic program. Baylor is a great school too but as far as the student-athlete LSU has the highest percentage with 77-percent and that's with the people who leave early for the draft. That caught my eye too."
The three schools are also currently at the top of his list of favorites. They are all showing attention with LSU and Oklahoma expected to stop through Rowlett in the near future while Baylor was the first to stop through this spring.
Baylor's attention has the Bears separating themselves from the other two.
"As of right now it's Baylor because they have offered me and I have met everybody," Johnson said. "As of right now it is Baylor."
This summer Johnson plans to attend camps at Oklahoma, LSU, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, and SMU. As for a decision, Johnson is not in a hurry.
"I think I'm just going to wait until after the season is over with," Johnson said.
