THE LATEST: Johnquai Lewis has options -- plenty of them. The Florida-based wide receiver is trying to narrow down his list of offers, however, and has started to visit campuses in the hope of doing so. Lewis will take a number of trips this fall, but a visit to Indiana is already in the rearview. Below, the three-star prospect outlines that trip and discusses the other schools he’s considering.

IN HIS WORDS:

ON RECENT VISITS:

“I was just up at Indiana for a visit. They showed me a lot of love. I loved it up there. I loved the community, too. I just hung out and got to know the coaches and the players. It was really cool.”

ON IF THE TRIP SURPRISED HIM:

"Yeah. It surprised me. It was my first experience up there. I really loved it. I didn;t expect it to be so cool. The coaches really took me in as soon as I got there. They treated me like I was one of their players. It doesn’t really feel like it feels down here in Florida. It’s a different vibe and I like it. I felt like it’s probably a good spot for me. I’m just trying not to move too fast."

ON OTHER SCHOOLS IN THE MIX:

"Louisville, Auburn and UCF. I like them both. Those three and Indiana right now."

ON LOUISVILLE:

"I really like the coaching staff there. Even since they took over, we had a really good connection. We talk, like every day. That’s important to me. I feel comfortable with those coaches.

ON UCF:

"That’s home. It’s right here in Florida. On top of that, they are doing good right now and the offense fits me. They run spread and that’s what I like."

ON AUBURN:

“I haven’t visited myself yet. We stopped by on a college tour, but I didn’t really have the time to check it out that much.”

ON POSSIBLE OFFICIAL VISITS:

"I want to go to Louisville, Auburn and Michigan for sure."

ON HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH MICHIGAN:

"I talked with coach [Jim] Harbaugh a couple times. He’s a cool guy over the phone. He wants to get to know me more and just wants me to come up and visit, so I will."
