Joey Hiben draws in school visitors

Chaska, (Minn.) tight end prospect Joey Hiben (6-foot-5, 235 pounds) from Waconia High School has continued to draw recruiting interest as well as several in school visitors so far during the May evaluation period.

"We've had some college coaches in school over the last few weeks," Joey Hiben said. "Michigan, Minnesota, Cincinnati and Northwestern have either made visits or are scheduled to make visits soon. Stanford is also scheduled to make an in school visit tomorrow (Monday)."
Hiben, who has been concentrating on his track season this spring, has also received a handful of phone calls. "I've gotten calls from Notre Dame, Lehigh and Darthmouth, and several schools that have made visits said that they were going to call in May. Also several schools have indicated in the mail that I'm getting that they plan to make in school visits and they also plan to call in May."
Joey Hiben has scholarship offers from Purdue, Stanford, Missouri, Northwestern, Boston College, Texas Tech and Colorado.
