Joe set to visit his favorite

Lakeland (Fla.) Lake Gibson offensive guard Errin Joe is set to hit the road for his first official visit this weekend.
"I am taking my first official visit this Friday to Georgia Tech," Joe said.

The 6-foot-4, 295-pound lineman most recently visited the Yellow Jackets in late November. This time around he is looking for a little more in-depth knowledge of what it is like to be a part of Paul Johnson's team.
"I want to see some of the intangibles," Joe said. "You see a lot of stuff when you go on these unofficial visits but what I really want to know is how I fit there. I want to communicate with the players because they have first-hand experience of playing at that place. That is something you really want to know because everyone says that the coaches are going to tell you all the good things, but you kind of get that first-person view of how life is at that place as far as education there and football from the players. That is what I am really looking forward to."
Entering the visit, Joe says that Georgia Tech is his clear favorite.
"They are one of my favorites right now, they are in the lead right now, so it is possible," Joe said. "But I am going to wait until I get that feeling that everybody talks about that they get when they know they are in the right place. I am just hoping that comes along and we can move on from there."
In addition to the Yellow Jackets, Joe is also looking at Rutgers, West Virginia, and Miami. Whether or not he takes additional visits depends on if he makes it back to Florida without deciding to become the newest Yellow Jacket.
"I am going to base everything off of this Georgia Tech visit," Joe said. "After this visit, this Friday, I am going to see what is next and kind of go down a list if I don't feel like Georgia Tech is the place for me."
